Experience exchange — Žalgirio Arena

Inteldome representatives took part in a visit to the Žalgiris basketball arena in Kaunas, Lithuania. The event was organized by Inteldome's partners – JUNG Ukraine and V.E.S. Group.
The program included a seminar at the office of the JUNG representative branch in Vilnius, which is responsible for the Eastern European and CIS markets, as well as a visit to the office of a local system integrator in Vilnius.
And the most vivid impression, without a doubt, was the visit to the architecturally and technologically unique and modern Žalgiris basketball arena. One of the arena's core systems – the lighting – runs on JUNG equipment using the KNX protocol, which once again proves the high reliability and quality of this equipment.
About JUNG
The JUNG headquarters – the company's central administrative and production complex – is located in the small town of Schalksmühle in Sauerland, Germany. The company was founded in 1912.
Responding to market needs, JUNG began to specialize in the production of switches and socket outlets. Alongside a high standard of quality, design became increasingly important.
As early as the 1960s, the company introduced a push-button switch that replaced the toggle and rotary models commonly used until then and became a classic of modern switch design.
On the one hand, JUNG offers a wide range of products: switches, socket outlets, dimmers and relays in a great variety of designs and for every purpose, equipped with additional functional features; on the other hand, JUNG provides devices and systems for special tasks in controlling the electrical installation of a house or apartment, including blind and shutter control, programmable individual lighting scenes and remote control. With the intelligent KNX system, you can equip your home to a true high-tech level.
The development and production of numerous electronic components for JUNG is the responsibility of its two subsidiaries – INSTA and ELKA.
Today JUNG is headed by the founder's grandson, Harald Jung, who sees his primary goal in maintaining and strengthening the company's position as a leader in innovative electrical equipment.
The direction for the future is strategically clear. JUNG holds firmly to its chosen course, offering the specialized market and electrical installation companies a wide range of future-oriented devices and systems that exemplify high technology, quality, ease of use and outstanding design.
