Turkmenabat is the second-largest city in Turkmenistan, located 470 km from Ashgabat. The airport occupies an area of more than 600 hectares; the terminal complex has a capacity of 500 passengers per hour, with a total building area of 32,000 sq.m. All buildings of the complex are designed in a distinctive, unified architectural style, organically blending modern trends with elements of national culture.
